RADECS is a non-profit association under the regime of the French law of 1901. The objective of the association is to promote fundamental and applied science and research in the field of radiation and its effects on materials, components and systems.

The RADECS association is the main technical sponsor of the annual RADECS European conference. The association also sponsorizes the organization of a number of recurring or occasional technical workshops on various topics related to radiation effects.

The RADECS association is composed of:

• a bureau, as per the statutes of a French-law-of-1901 association
• a Steering Group
• a Council Board
• Members.
